Drowning in pictures

I have been slacking in the picture developing department. With 4 kids all 2 years apart it has been very hard to keep up with downloading pictures and developing them. I am desperately trying to organize and place them into yearly albums. My problem is I love real pictures. I like to have them developed on nice paper and put into a real photo album. I just think they look better that way. But it is very time consuming to get them developed and put into albums. Well, maybe its only time consuming when you are trying to catch up on 4 years worth of pictures. I am trying to bring myself to use shutterfly. I really like the idea and being able to arrange all the pictures and have up to 4,000 pictures per album is very appealing. I don't like that I can't tangibly see the album before I purchase it. Weird, I know.

boys will be boys

Summer is coming to an end. I have mixed emotions about this. We have enjoyed our pool this summer. But I am welcoming this beautiful weather we have been having the past few days. I love the leaves falling on the ground. I think my husband would state otherwise. Leaves and pools don't really go together. And he is the one that cleans the pool =) The boys love to play outside  together and it is so neat to see them interact without their bossy sister giving orders playing with them.

kids having fun...

Monday we went to a park. The weather was beautiful here and thankfully I remembered my camera.

I love this picture of G's face. He was a little unsure of the slide. Thankfully his big sister decided to pull him down.

I think he finally got used to it.

This is why I don't take many pictures of G. If he knows I am trying to take a picture of him he hides. Little stinker.

Surprise Surprise!!

This weekend my in laws surprised the kids with a visit. It was so funny because the kids had no idea they were coming. They were only here for a short time so we packed as much fun into 48 hours as we could. Logan can ride his bike without training wheels now, so a trip to Toys R Us was in order.

                              Logan loves his new bike!
                                      Caroline watching!

Kaitlyn decided she is going to be Rapunzel from the movie Tangled for Halloween. I am not convinced that she will still want to be Rapunzel two months from now, but it only takes one smile from this 6 yr old to get what she wants from Nana ;)

We also went to the Children's Museum. I can't believe I forgot to take my camera. They had a kids Kroger there that was so neat. It was set up just like a Kroger store complete with shopping carts and cash register's that really scanned items and printed receipts. I thought we were never going to drag the kids away from that place.

4th of July makes her cry

desperately wanted to get a picture of all the kids in their 4th of July outfits. Not that their outfits were anything fancy, but a picture of all of them together and looking at the camera would have been nice. But I guess my kids think that is boring. I don't have one picture of all 4 of them looking at the camera. I guess having a picture of them looking at the camera AND smiling is completely out of the question.

As you can see, Caroline just wasn't feeling too patriotic that day! Every time I look at this picture I crack up because this is what real life is like. I think I might get a little worried if I got a picture of all of them looking AND smiling at the camera!!

my girl

I can't believe she is getting close to being a year old. I can't wait for her to start walking and talking. But I also know that she is my last baby, and that is kinda sad.

                                            I love you sweet girl!

A boy that hates the camera

This little boy hates getting his picture taken. He is a very busy boy. Keeps me on my toes, and sometimes drives me nuts  challenges my parenting ability. But he is so funny, and very entertaining.
