I am linking up with Kelly's Korner today. The topic of conversation is wedding tips, places, or any advice you would like to give. It has almost been 8 years since Travis and I got married. I would have the same wedding all over again. I wouldn't change a thing! We got married on the beach in Destin, Fl. If you haven't been there, you should most definitely go! The sand is white and fluffy and the water is crystal clear most of the time. I don't have any pictures on my computer or I would be more than happy to share them. I have a cd around here somewhere that has some pictures on it but it would take me awhile to find it. Anyway, we used Forever I do Weddings and had a great experience! The ladies were professional and answered every question with a smile. We got married in May and the weather was beautiful. I tell my husband that I hope he is ready to do it all over again for our 25th year anniversary! And by George, I will wear the same wedding dress ;) I hope! 

We also received this lovely gift 9 months later!!

It's a beautiful day

I usually love winter time. I enjoy sweaters, boots, and all things cozy. But with four kids cooped up in the house, I am beginning to not enjoy it so much. I miss being able to get in our pool and go to the outdoor splash park. Thankfully, today was a nice day so we took the kids outside. The boys enjoyed their new razors and Caroline loved being able to walk around. 

Happy Birthday to me..

My sweet hubby surprised me today with a new camera. He ordered the camera I wanted and had it shipped to our house without telling me. He is such an awesome husband! And, on an even better note, I went and picked up an 85mm lens from lensrentals today! They are a great internet based company that you can rent photography gear from. I am hoping the weather turns sunny so I can hit up the park with the kiddos and start shooting away! with my camera! =) I took a couple of pictures of the tree again using my new camera. Some people may not notice a difference, but I do. And that's all that matters, right? What do you think?

Oh' and the Happy Birthday to me is because my Birthday is on Christmas! ;)

Aunt Sarah, the topper is in my bedroom. I just haven't gone out to the garage to get the clippers to trim the top of the tree some. Lazy, I know.

Here comes Santa Claus

I took MckMama's advice on taking a picture of our Christmas tree. I have been having a few issues with my pictures coming out blurry and grainy. I haven't figured out why yet, but I did manage to get a few good ones of our tree. Here is my favorite.

One of our favorite aunt's sent the kids Target gift cards in the mail. After spending over an hour in the toys section and looking at every Iron Man, Batman, Capt. America, and whatever else they have in the boys section now the boys decided to get skateboards. The boys love anything with wheels.

mastering manual..

I am on a mission to be able to get great pictures by shooting in manual mode on my camera. I love photography, and have become more interested in having great pictures. The only problem is, I have 4 small children that don't like to be still. I have found so many helpful blogs and websites through pinterest. I wish I had the time to sit down everyday and read them but I don't. I have made a folder on my computer so I can quickly access them. Here are a few of the ones I took at a park the other day. I am sure I could make them "pop" a little more if I had photoshop. Maybe it will sow up under the tree this year. ;-)
